how does the design process work?
The first question in the design process is a simple but important one: are we the right fit?
If you want quality work without a cookie cutter template, complete control over the final look of your product, and a personalised experience where you're always speaking to the same person, then I'm the right fit for you. If you're happy to put in the thought and work to make the most out of the process, are good at writing copy and paying invoices on time, and trust my expertise to be able to advise on what will and won't work, then you're the right fit for me.
If we decide we're a good fit for each other, I'll estimate a quote for your project. I then require you to fill out a questionnaire all about yourself or your business. This helps me to understand exactly what your needs are and how I can best meet your expectations.
From here, I'll compile a design brief which includes your final quote, the design strategy, the target market, and all the terms and conditions you need to agree to for us to be able to go ahead.
Once accepted, we start designing - you'll receive drafts in stages through e-mail or face-to-face as we develop your final product together. We don't stop until you're completely happy - and I'm so confident you will be that I offer unlimited rounds of drafts on all projects within the allocated timeframe.
Upon conclusion, your invoice is sent digitally and payment is made by credit card or direct transfer. All fees are discussed and quoted prior to project commencement, so there are no surprises. Everyone's happy!
